Set of Approximately 46 – These ‘peacock” pearls are just stunning. Amazing iridescent purples and blues. Any freshwater pearls that are not white, peachy or lavender are dyed. However, even the natural colors, have most likely been treated. After pre-treatment washing, most pearls undergo bleaching, dyeing, and a light polishing, and some types also receive luster enhancement. While many people view dyeing negatively, there’s little to no stigma associated with these routine pearl treatments. Pearls are a natural material, color and size will vary.
