Drilled, Round, Freshwater Cultured Blue Pearls 7 1/2mm

Set of 56 – These dyed blue, pearls are stunning in shape, color and shine.  Although they are potato pearls (as close to round you can get), the majority of them are round.  Any freshwater pearls that are not white, peachy or lavender are dyed.  However, even the natural colors, have most likely been treated.  After pre-treatment washing, most pearls undergo bleaching, dyeing, and a light polishing, and some types also receive luster enhancement. While many people view dyeing negatively, there’s little to no stigma associated with these routine pearl treatments.  Pearls are a natural material, color and size will vary.
