These are pretty deep molds. You will make a clay “disc/patty,” put it over the mold and gently flatten the patty in to the mold. Be sure to use an adequate amount of lube. You can immediately flip your mold over and gently move the silicone to get your design to “drop” out. You can also let your piece dry in the mold. Photo below is to give you an idea of the thickness.
